I still think that modern FPS are not as good as the original DOOM. I prefer the raw kill-kill-kill gameplay over today's attempts to shove plot in my mouth or make "advanced AI" that still isn't a match to 10 revenants in a crowded room.

A good point. I dont think the original DOOM will ever get to old. It,s a masterpiece and was revolutionary when released. Blasting away with the shotgun for minutes at a time doesnt sound like much fun... Thats ofcourse concidering you havent played DOOM yet...
