It might make sound, but you can't be sure. Even IF there was somebody other then yourself there, you couldn't be sure (And some might go even further...).
However, I don't see any reason why the tree shouldn't make any sound. Mostly because I don't like the Man-as-the-center-of-the-universe idea that it professes. I'm still working on something better though
