Founded by Steve Podradchik in 1993, Medio Multimedia was an ambitious publisher of historical and somewhat educational titles, and a pioneer in the CD-ROM business. Among the titles they published are JFK Assassination: A Visual Investigation, Extreme Sports, Safari, Vietnam: A Visual Investigation and Exploring Ancient Architecture. They also had a CD-ROM magazine, named Medio Magazine.

Eventually, it went bankrupt in 1995, after ConnectSoft withdrawed their offer to acquire the company.
