I just beat the game! I was able to unlock two of the many endings: Artist and Housewife. She was an excellent lumberjack and took a lot of art classes. She won the Cooking Contest. Now, I am starting over again. I do have a question: how do I get my daughter to marry Cube? The highest I have ever gotten was 51 with her relationship to him. By the way, I got a score of 321.

Sorry, you can't.

The thing is that the game was never officially translated or released, so nobody can legally offer it for download - too bad, since it was the only game in the series that even got (an unofficial) translation.

Actually, that's not true.
The translation is official - except it was never fully finished, and in the end never released either. A copy of it leaked out on the net a few years ago, that being the copy AB used to have.

Potatoes, potatoes...

Hmm... a translation that was never completed and never released and a working copy leaking out... I'd say all of that would classify as the unofficial translation.

I had Artist and Magic Instructor. Housewife is near the bottom of the barrel as far as good professions go.

I remember being intrigued when PM2 showed up. It came along with Faery Tale Adventure 2: Halls of the Dead, from the same distributor, and that distributor went belly up almost immediately. As a result, those games received hardly any attention or distribution at all in the US. Can't speak for elsewhere. Shame, because they were interesting titles. I don't think PM2 would have ever gotten the kind of praise it deserved in the US in any case, because of its unusual format. But I played it often, and always got a chuckle out of the way the developers associated various tasks with different personality traits.

Does any one else notice that their daughter is really tiny?

I've only played it once, and to get her into the leather dress (which looks rather interesting) I needed to get her down under 100 pounds. And, she was only like 5'3"...

The more I play this game, the more I like it! ARGH, hooked!

And to think that I didn't download it because I thought it would be too girly!
