Quick Q about the sound effects etc in Blood: any time I've played it with the music on DOSBox (which only comes on if I -don't- skip the Monolith advert) keeps repeating on a loop. I also remember the music sounding different before (many, many moons ago) and seeing cut-scenes. :confused: I have the actual game itself and the same thing also happens. Is it something to do with my PC? If so, what software to I use to get the full effect?

Thanks, man!! But I downloaded the game from here already and installed on my DOSBox, should the same thing work?
Also, there's no 'WINSTALL' or 'blood.ini' file in the MOVIES folder for the game.... |

Uh oh. You downloaded the file from the Blood page, right? The 27.3MB one? Well, you unfortunately don't have to worry about the CD audio or the movies. They aren't included in the zip file from here (the AVI movie files are empty placeholder files, as are their accompanying WAV files). So, you don't have any movies to watch.
As for the "WINSTALL" file, I guess whoever made that zip archive decided not to include it. However, you should have the "BLOOD.INI" file right there in the main "Blood" folder (not that you need to edit it now).

i dont want to sound like an ass but how the hell did this become abandonned?

There was one just twelve days ago.
Then we found out the game was still being sold and had to remove the download in accordance with our own rules. The download will be available again once there is no new copies sold anymore.

Wth lol, just 1 month ago (just after the server-downtime got fixed) i downloaded it here from abandonia... now a friend of mine wanted to down it and its ESA protected... did you guys make a mistake?
