As a1s realised, they're Sierra published and hence ESA protected I'm afraid.
Oh, well. I honestly never thought it was very good anyway.

I didn't know where else to post this, and I didn't want to annoy the Requests section with a game I don't even remember the name to. However I remember playing this great little game. You're a conqueror, or warrior of sorts. You start out on one side of a land that has 6 towns in it, and a rival warrior on the otherside. You take over a town, take care of the residents by either purchasing cows, or growing crops to feed them.

Amidst all this, you earn their trust and the more you have, the more people you can take into battle to conquer the other towns. The point of the game is to quickly conquer all six towns before your rival does, and then defeat him. At the time, I only had a demo of it. I am not sure of it's name or even the company that made it. All I have is that description. If this is in the wrong area, sorry again. :tai:

Any ideas as to which game this is? My company guess would be Sierra, but i've done a backbone search through most of Sierras titles, and the problem is they tend to forget any knowledge of old games they may have made... So if anything that info might be lost.

*moved again* :bleh:

You'd be surprised how many requests a game they can't remember - and how many rediscovers their games in this forum k:

At first I thought it might be Heroes of Might & Magic, but then the cows came into the picture - and I am now stranded clueless...

Damn those cows. It's actually a pretty short game. At first when I started looking for it, I thought it was Age of Empires, so I downloaded those games... And even though they're good, thats not the game I was talking about. All I remember is... That this demo came in a Civil War Strategy game, that plays kinda like Proximity. The demo of the game I am looking for was in there... Along with this other game titled "Jagged Alliance" which I know you have. But other than all this info I am stumped.

Sounds a bit like Lord of the realm, but you say it is a short game, with cows. hmmmm.

Hmm, after further thought, I am 90% certain that it is The Horde.

That makes no sence in the horde.

Edit: Saw some screens for Lord of the Realms... Confirming it DOES have cows. However... The game seems a little less advanced than the version I played. I'll just have to try the demos of either 1 or 2 to see if that is the correct one. Since thats basically what I had.

some of my IRL friends have the game you are talking about but I can't remember its name either. I'll edit this topic when I remember. But the game is not ABW btw.
