![]() I guess the corresponding last step in UW1 would be not rescuing the princess. I have heard that in UW1 the main character gets killed off 20-30 years down the road- has anyone gone so far as to have experienced that?

![]() I personally like Uncharted Waters 1 better than 2. Yes, you have more options when starting in 2, but the first one was simple, clean & focused on one story line. And the ship was easier to control in one than two.

![]() I'm completely with you on that, Old School Gamer. UW 1 had the flavor of a real adventure about it. In UW 2 they dumbed it all down and made it cartoonish and too childish for my liking. Fewer ships were easier to control and they were way better ships. The only problem I have with UW 1 is that they have a limit on how much money you can have at any one time. 60,000 is far from enough! A second annoying point is the investment model that didn't have as big an effect if you invested a lot of money. (BTW, this is a tip to people who play UW 1. When investing in a port, invest 1000 at a time. This way you'll get a lot more loyalty for your money. 10 investments of 1000 get you much better results than 1 investment of 10,000.)
But even so, UW 1 is very enjoyable. More so than UW 2 in many ways. |

![]() I've played UW and UW2.
I like UW than UW2. Coz of the simple and easy of this game, I don't like to do everything under story line in UW2 to complete the game. |

![]() Some games work fine with DOSBox 0.63 but not with the latest 0.65. Try previous versions, and in the DOSBox homepage you've got compatibility details for many games:
