it's their download rate which is slow, rather than the general navigation...

Yeah navigation around the site seems to be pretty smooth for me, there download speed does go down for me, but that's what I expect when you get that many visitors to that site.

Well HOTU has got more games, and I like their reviews and referrals a lot as well. And I also concider HOTU to be the most professional site in its kind.

At the other hand I think Abadonia is a more accessable thanks to the nagless downloading and higher speed rates. The forum and the (almost) daily updates make this site a bit more fun to use too.

So in the end, both places have their own value I guess k:

Concur. But the Underdogs has a lot of games worth playing that Abandonia doesn't have. Let's not be like Soviet and USA, let's be more Che Guevara and Fidel Castro.

You know, USA and the soviets became more or less friendly in the end, while Fidel and Che, though comrades in arms in the beggining ended up badly (at least badly for che, who died in exile, while fidel is still a dictator of a big island).

just a historical note

I know that... A relationship can only get worse over time . Some people claim that Fidel killed Ernesto... So if our two sites are like those icons, who will kill who ?

I like HotU because it has many games, but believe me you just can't use it with 56k, a page takes a minute to load...

Yeah I remember surfing the under dogs when I had 56k and trying to download many times I had 0. something k that just really made me sad, but oh well it's understandable. Least I got cable now.

The sheer number of games at the Underdogs' is amazing. It's great if you're looking for a particular game or want an overview of just how many games there are, but the one thing there I've never been quite happy with is the reviews. Which is why I came here. Believe it or not, I've read almost all of the reviews on the site (in several languages, because I just have to use every opportunity of training my Norwegian :crazy - even for games I'd never dream of downloading. But I still check for updates on the Underdogs site, and since I mainly read the descriptions of the games, the slow download speed doesn't even affect me. So I'd say the two sites really complement each other quite well and any update at the Underdogs' is good news.
