Check this --> http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=17476

About installing the game from that file before playing for the first time, click on "How to install the games". About starting the game, click on the "Basic Tutorial".

It's a ZIP archive. You have to extract the contents with WinZip, WinRAR, WinAce, the Windows-built-in compressed folders utility or the like.

The x:\ is not really X:\ but the partition you use, can be c:\, d:\, whatever.
Isn't the same as:

Wow. This place in unforgiving with newbies huh?

If you want to sound smart you should at least count right. There are about 66 diffrences.

And I got this. I hope this clarifies.

Ok, in the dos prompt, after reaching the wolf directory, type dir

That will list all the files and subfolders in the directory "wolf".

Check that the game itself isn't in a _sub_folder named "wolf" and check that the exe file is in there in the correct location. If there is a subdirectory with the game, just type cd "name of subdirectory, probably Wolf" and then dir again. Look for the exe file. In any case, you DON'T want to type wolf.exe, only wolf

And I see you have met our dosraider

I am very lost. If you count as a folder named Wolf in a folder called My Downloads within My Documents as a sub folder then I guess I'll move that.

I got this.

How do you save in Wolf? I read the manual but it is not in there. I did it once when I accidently pressed my palm onto the keyboard with my head looking the other way.. So don't tell me you can't. So how do I save and load files?

You have to press space and go down to the empty grass like space by your wolf there should be an options button, but it only appears when your mouse is over it. You should be able to figure it out form there. :amused:

Sorry for double post, but it wouldn't let me edit my other post. Yes, well I keep getting an error when I got to select how long I want to play for, and what season and such. The thing is the error only appears for a couple of seconds and then it's gone. I can never read what it says.
