It certainly does.
But they bring it up at appropriate times.

But unlike the complaining fanboys, I thought it was a rather interesting plot, wished they have elaborated a bit more. But the plot more or less centers on the marines trying to escape the center.

Oh, and just to clear it up, it doesn't star the Rock, but it has that weird guy that was in the FPS scene.
And the Rock does do pretty well.

Wow. I haven't seen the movie Doom, but it sounds alot like that Resident Evil movie. In fact they're so similar its scary. Marines enter the Hive to check out the communications silence, find a whole lotta zombies mutated by some bizarre scientific thingy, and fight to get out, ultimately ending in things getting blown up. Cheesy computer generated monster. Based on a popular video game. Generally a waste of money and movie making skills. Prepare yourselfs for Doom 2. :not_ok:

It sucks,
Why:
1.First time I loaded it MSN crashed (although its been doing that of late)
2.Feels like a hell of crappy video game, if your gonna make a scene try and feel like a video game at least make the monsters look real, first time I saw the girl try to attack him, I laughed
3.Sorely needs a targetting recipticle, about twenty time it felt like he was just shooting the ground, and the monsters died
4.It felt off....like the screen was too squised |.....| ...just...too small or something, squahsed (this could be because of YouTube)
5.The gun was just wacko, it was huge...
6.The guy is a retard, if he can shoot 3 people in less than 2 seconds in the head with the scope, why does he bother to shoot the rest in the chest and waste his ammo?
7.Its froom DOOM, which I'm biased against. I admit it.

Hmmm,this made me pla Doom again...just to know its nos as crapy as this FPS scene.

Even though it should be apparently action-packed adrenaline raising,it managed to be boring and extremely unrealistic(especially the way this guy moves,shoots etc-in reality,he would have no chace even against elite squad of crippled seniors)

Those monsters...those monsters.Is there any reason why they look like from some bad B-rated zombie film?Especially this very first made go all :eeeeeh: -my sister could play better zombie

Also,it seems that all those monsters do is look at that guy and grin or maybe wiggle a bit...I mean:shoot grinnig zombie in face,turn 90°(veeery slowly)OMG another zombie-the shock!-shooz in the face,turn around 90°.......

As TheGiantMidgit said, the plot is about as solid as that of the original Doom, although at some point, it moves up to a Quake 2 level! :P

I thought that was the best scene in the entire movie. It had the '25 thousand shades of black' that Doom3 featured, the mindless violence and gore of every first-person shooter, and O got the slight feeling of nausea (spelling?) that people apparantly always get when they watch over my shoulder as I play a 3d FPS! Off course the movie pretty much sucked donkeyballs, but nevertheless I had a swell afternoon (could be the two half liters of beer I consumed whilst watching it). k:

Well it was slower than if you were playing a FPS, way slower. It really should have been sped up.
