![]() First of all I'd like express how happy I am to have found an abandonware site that has both Laura Bow 2 and Police Quest 4 for download. I'm also very happy with the way your files are named. I have a huge collection of old games on my hard drive, but I have no clue what many of them are, since I was too lazy to name them properly when I first downloaded them, so it's nice when files are actually named properly when you download them.
With that out the way, I'd like to suggest a keyword feature similar to the on ethey have at HOTU. Let's face it, computer games are categorised mainly by the way they're played and not by the setting/mood of the game, like movies for instance. It's not that important for a small site with only a handfull of games to choose from, but abandonias collection is growing rapidly, and when at some point (hopefully) you have thousands of games, users may not be inclined to look through all of the adventure games to find that specific scifi-horror adventure game they remember playing 15 years ago, but can't remember the title of. I realise that this may take quite a bit of work from whoever has to do it, so feel free to disregard me. It's just a suggestion, but it would enhance the site a lot in my opinion. |
