![]() XIII was simultaneously really cool and really dumb. The box itself has cut out panels to let the DVD-style cover be seen, and they both fit together to create a comic-style scene. Looks good.
The game comes on 4 CDs -- two mounted in the DVD case and the other two just stuffed inside in paper envelopes. |

![]() They did the same with Emperor:Battle for Dune (one of the first games to be released in a DVD-case by the way)
The install disc was as in the regular place, but the three other discs (Atreides, Harkonnen and Ordos) were in those annoying paper envelopes. The Sims 2 handled their 4 cd's pretty well. The "cd's stacked one on top of the other"-methode works, but there have been quite a few stories of cd's breaking because of it.

![]() The small boxs can work well if used properly, I agree that the little CD boxes always break. It is possible to fit a big manual with lots of lovely detail inside a little box along with a map and other things. It is possible to fit all of the necessary CDs in a little box in two ways, 1) Put it on a DVD

![]() HL2 box pissed me off, 5 envelopes, a card showin controls and a ATI ad, talk about cheap. Stroggy, my battle for dune is in a 4 cd case...
I miss thoese big boxes. The best case was the C&C total warare back. A folded case with slots that had C&C 1, expanision, Red Alert 1 and both expansions, with manuals in the middle. |
