Titles shouldn't be just given away. Work for them.
Oh and members shouldn't be able to pick their own title... it should be a king of a gamble. If you get a good one, lucky you! if you get a bad one... you're stuck with it, congrats!

Its not difficult many forums allow users to give themselves a title after they reach a certain ammount of posts. Its an option in the "my controls" window when its user-enabled
