Hi to all!
I got this game yesterday and the exe that goes with it and when it gave me the 'usual' RTPe.exe missing error I loaded it into my rpgmaker2003 and told it to create a GameDisk with runtime package included...
After trying to run the game once more, it said it lacked Harmony.dll so I gave it that too.. so, I was able to run it, but after the initial animation the game crashes saying it couldn't load earth file!!!
Is there any help with this??

ok. To get this game running you Need a few things. First the game
The only version I seem to get running ok is the one at theunderdogs.org.

For those of you with that extremely annoying font disappearance problem:
go here and get the patch. Install then reboot.

Install the last one and REBOOT THE COMPUTER I DONT CARE WHAT VERSION OF WINDOWS YOU HAVE. REBOOT IS REQUIRED! (this particular fact cost me 2 hours of download install uninstall delete mayhem. Till I read the size 6 font print saying rebooting is suggested.)

As for the "2nd version" I haven't been able to get it to work, but I haven't tried if after all the bandaids I just gave my mortally wounded computer.

I like this game. Some of you have this Been there done that attitude with games. Get Over It. Theres a lot of Code in this game. (took a peek with RPG Maker 2k) Not everyone can draw and make their own music and program.
Square-enix probably has more employees than this guy did. not to mention we shell out some $50 for the game and this guy gives it to us.

No metter what I do, another site will not let me download the file... Is there any chance to find it elsewhere??

You were refering to a completely different site - and their server, their collections and their probles got nothing to do with us (although we're on friendly terms).

The game is hosted on our sister site as well: Abandonia Reloaded (just follow the link from the main game site - I guess that's where you found this thread to post in anyway).

Hullo all, I haven't read all of this discussion, and if you have already discussed about my point here, I'm sorry for the repetition.

I read some of the review by Tom (I usually skip the parts which include plot, 'cause I really hate spoilers) and just wanted to point out that Delita didn't really make this game pixel by pixel, the game being made with rpgmaker. Quite a lot of the screenshots show that he has used a lot of the rtp files provided, the characters, chipset etc... I don't blame him of course, it would have been exhausting to draw everything all by yourself (although there are some who manage it, all credit to them).
You lot propably all ready knew this, but I just couldn't find out if you did, discovering this site fifteen minutes ago and this topic going on for 10+ pages...

My second opinion is that no one should christen their game Final Fantasy if it's really not a FF. It doesn't matter how good their game is or how much they like the series, but to me it just seems wrong, almost like abusing the real developers. It's like you'd write a book titled The Bible: What Jesus really meant (Don't get me wrong, I'm quite religious) or even Lord Of The Rings Part II. I love FF but wouldn't call my own game FF even if I would think it would do the name justice.

Help! I cant find the exe file to run the game. I have RPG Maker 2000 and the other file but I just can't see how to run it.
