Well, I'm gathering games from many sources. I even bought a few games (that were new at the time) but I still haven't played them (or have only started, but didn't have the time to finish and never returned to them) - like Caesar 3 (I was among the first people who bought it when it came out in stores here (in the previous millenia) but I still haven't found enough time (or will power) to really play it (same with Civ 3). I know this must sound almost crazy, but yes it happens.

So no, I don't think you're weird for downloading games (for free) and not playing them.

And there are still some games on Abandonia I simply have to play (like Touche, or X-COM), but I never got around to it.

Hmmmmm ...... since I'm probably the oldest gamer here starting off with a Tandy 1000 with 2 external HDs of 10mb each [I paid ....$999.00 US per HD at the time at Radio Shack]....... my game collection spans over 27 years.

Being a pack rat..... I still have the original games like KK1 on 5 1/4 floppys......... and yes...... I couldn't begin to play all the games I have

*chuckle*

So about computer history you can say: I was there!

I was 12 when first time I played chess game on ZX Spectrum.

They had some computer show in the city, and that was first time I saw one. Before that I was reading a lot about computers. (Had a small conversation with reporter who wrote most of the stuff I've read in those days)

I am sure that it would take me couple life-times to play every game I have. (not to finish every game, but just to play it)
