I got mine from www.gamehippo.com it's like a freeware game site where people make home made games. Most them are really good.

Finally someone else who likes enemy territory I'm playing it already for like 6 months and still like it. It's only getting better. Playing on the sir bunker servers all the time (www.et-sir.com for ip addresses), and my nickname is ={UFA}=Kakoon.

Yeah im known as GunstarComrade at that site. Been playing for 1 year....and soo far very good. Especially in the Gold Rush map. In the game in known as[*]Mr.Axis. It supposed to be in red though..and i keep changing it for some reason.

well what can i say. it freezes evry now and then.

fast paced (opponents are very fast moving).

Since i played Day of defeat a lot i can say that this game has some serious issues.

Day of defeat (at least the pre-STEAM version) was greatly balanced (example: the loosing teams had shorter reinforcement time while winning one had longer etc.), had a lot of places to hide, people were moving slower arroudn the map and by loading bots you could easilly have 32 players playing.


Enemy territory has interesting weapons selection, but for me they really all move too fast. which is one of the reaosns no one is using the sniper rifle (you move the rifle, you miss - you don't move, the enemy escapes). Also mpas have little places to hide without the opponent actualyl seeing you throuigh walls or on some other bizzare way. And also it's a bit hard to kill opponent (if you use burts you miss it cause it's moving too fast, if you use full auto you miss it because of recoil)

Still it has interesting way the missions are played. I guess it would all be better with a little team work. and that is hard to get on public servers wherre some ididots desperatelly try to ruin the fun (like by blocking the doors or deliberatelly killing their own teammates).

What servers did you try? The game is pretty easy...i mean i killed like 60 and died like 20 times..aim is no problem. Sniping isn't hard at all, just aim for the head and shoot twice. I use guns all the time. Always the engineer, and i played against and with like 20 clans. Some of them were easy to kill, and the others are just plain good. (Like me)

hmm i jjst got kicked because of lag (WTF). High ping is only my lag not servers. anyway i have 256kbps upload and 1 MB doanload how come it lags?

Yeah i got kicked a few times because of a lag. Make sure you enter servers with a ping of 150 and under. I mean i get 130 on some servers and I do fine. I have about the same connection. Im using 2.55 version........im gonna update it now. Do you use Xfire?

nope. just the game.
i use version i downloaded from gamehippo.


Edit: I thought there are maybe some commands to tweak your game for less lag. Liek in half life you could raise your ping substantially if you added some parameters to your config file. That way you could have ping of 100 - 150 on 56k modem.

most servers are full. peopel play 6 vs 6 or 7 vs 7 (lame!).

Are these mentioned servers less full? where are they located? USA?

are there any servers with full load? or at least with bigger load?
