I can not stand text adventures. I mean there is nothing wrong with it... but I need some sort of graphics... even 8 bit looking is good enough al though better looking is always nicer.

If indeed RPG Maker PC is illegal, are there substitutes? Like I said I do not mind the graphics, I just want to make a story. Are there any free and "legal" rpg makers?

So which ones do not have adaware, pop ups and viruses? I had stuff loading onto my computer faster than I could delete them.

Just install whichever one suits your mind and, since you seem to be afraid of various sorts of malware, perform a full virus/spyware/adware sweep of your computer. It's always good to do that every once in a while - and I don't mean with one program, either! (used about 8 myself in a recent check of my PC, but it was well worth the time spent)
