I think I know the demo you're talking about. It was for a 7th Level game called Cold Blooded which would've starred Bruce Campbell as the main character, but sadly it was cancelled before release.

Wow, very nicely remembered.
There seems to be word of a leaked alpha version. Considering how little is shown in that video I linked, it's possible ckeech is remembering a more thorough video preview of the game. It looks like the real story of what happened with this game is yet to be told. I'll try and keep an eye out for anything more on it.

Amazing!!!! That's it! I can't believe you got it from my description. Thank you so much! It explains why I was so sure that the name was "Cold Blooded" but I gave up looking for it when I couldn't find it under that name.

I'm so keen to see the Alpha leak if anyone knows where to get it. Thanks so much for all your help.
