Sorry for bumping this but I found out that the game is 3001: A Reading & Math Odyssey. Found it in a pile of old CDs.

3001 - A Reading & Math Odyssey
Game has not had ESA protection since 2006 (1995 release date + 10 year ESA protection + 1 year due to no exact release date = 2006), is no longer supported, and I could not find any valid buylinks. Can someone confirm this?
