For sold status it doesn't matter if they're an official reseller since we want to support stores selling old games. It's a horse of a different colour when a store does the things Fifth Horseman mentioned.

I think the latter would be totally illegal, especially if they don't pay royalties. Secondhand or "dead" stock wouldn't pay royalties anyway, but that wouldn't make it supported software, especially if it's been lying in a warehouse for umpteen years, next to old Health Walkers and Bedazzlers. Some movie or other called it "infomercial hell", lol.

And it's surprising what people will sell when it's not for resale. I found a whole shelf of Gideon's Bibles in a book exchange once :weird:
