Here's a fun thing to do in Shadow President:

1.Take over Iraq and keep it as a colony-->all the oil really adds to the economy
2. Lower taxes at the end of the year to really boost your popularity
3. Be really nice to other countries. Peace talks, aid, etc.
4. When popularity is about 90% or higher, take over another country, and lower taxes again.

Repeat. You can really take over the world.

How do you win the war in Iraq?

1. Blockade Iraq.
2. Bring in all your troops and wait several months until they all arrive in the region. Accept whoever will take them.
3. Declare War.
4. Launch surgical strike after strike to soften them up. This ADDS to popularity (but only temporarily so do it early and often). Ten or more times in a row is not unreasonable.
5. Try to asssassinate the leader and sabotage economical assetts.
6. When their will to fight gets low enough, they will surrender.

How do you stop the invasion of Kwait in the quickest way possible?

1. Wait for Iraq to invade.
2. Go to the crisis screen and threaten a nuclear strike.

The reason you are losing to a country that you have just nuked is the radiation. The Allies did'nt march to Hiroshima on the next day after bombing them to pieces.

The extraction prossess takes forever, can anyone help?

Windows Extraction, but I installed WinZip and everything's going smoothly, thanks.

I recommend WinRAR, 7Zip, TugZip. WinZip isn't too great.

WinZip works/ed for me, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for trying.

Man, this is a great game. The first time I was doing the usual foreign relations stuff, until one of my passenger jets suffered a Syrian terrorist attack. So I condemn Syria and launch a surgical strike.

Then Iraq invades Kuwait. I tried to defend, but I misinterpreted the troop numbers and only sent a few thousand soldiers. I tried maintaining my defense of Kuwait while attacking Iraq, but the effort quickly collapsed, and Iraq triumphed.

I invaded Iraq several more times and failed after making the same mistakes.

Frustrated, I launched a nuke at Iraq, killing a few thousand people. My Press Secretary resigned in protest.

Within days, China responded to my attack with a massive nuclear strike, killing millions, wrecking the nation, and killing most of my Cabinet. England immediately counterattacked, and I struck back as well after collecting my wits.

The world sat in shambles for awhile, as the war with China petered out and I tried to retake Iraq.

The game ended after a French agent assasinated me.
