How are you trying to run it? DOSBox?

It's normal that DosBox boots on Z:. Let's take an example. Let's say that you installed World of Xeen in a directory named Xeen, situated in another directory named oldgames (where you store all your oldies that need DosBox to run) on hard drive D:.
On the Z: prompt you type mount c d:\oldgames
The DosBox will then confirm that your virtual hard drive c: is now indeed your oldgames directory.
But the Z: prompt is still here. So type cd c: and you are on c: (which is really d:\oldgames, as you and i know, but the computer is fooled). You can now go to any of your old games. For xeen, type cd xeen (or cd whatever game directory's name, for another game). Once you see the C:\Xeen\ prompt you just type Xeen and here you go.

I hope this was clear.

So in case you haven't noticed you need a little Dos skills too. And then if you finally manage to launch the game, you'll probably experience sound problems. We'll talk more if it is the case, but one step at a time.

Play it in warrior mode.

Trust me.

Also, I have a question - Has anyone figured out how to edit the characters yet? I don't mind rolling, but I am lazy.

Nevermind.. I figured it out.

Now I can give my characters whatever stats I want via a hex editor.

Yay!
