What keyword?

I've just borrowed Sim Tower from a friend of mine and it doesn't work. I've tried everything that was mentioned here, but the program is not starting up. I've even downloaded it elsewhere and it still doesn't work. I have yet to come across any error messages. As mentioned earlier, when I clicked setup.exe, it would only stay on for less than a second and doesn't install anything in the end. What should I do?

Start with Compatibility Modes. Right-click on the executable. [Properties]->[Compatibility]
Try Windows 95, 640x480, 256 Colors.
Then try VDMSound.
After that, DosBox.

I'm trying to install this game, but for a reason i don't know it doesn't work on my computer. I tryed it on pc of my friend and it work. ?

Pretty clear. This game was never meant for XP in the first place. Try using Compatibility Modes to get around this problem, fraid there's nothing else I can suggest (two other solutions are A.Virtual Machine programs, but they are laaaaggy and B. getting an extra HDD to install Windows 9x on it, but then it would cost a sum to obtain both).

I absolutely love this game, and I'm glad I can download it here! I lost my copy of it about a year ago. And also... I've reached five stars several times before, each within only a couple of hours. There's a certain strategy you can use to speed up the star-raising process, though to be honest I can't remember what it is.

Hi there, i have the game and have had for years , tried to run it today and nothing. still have the orig floppies so i reinstalled and still nothing. no errors at all. yes its installed ok. i double click the icon and NOTHING happens. <sigh> any suggestions?
