some people actually do. I run a website with a donate button and more people then expected donated something.

On Lemon64 I wanted to donate - but couldn't. Slovenia wasn't one of the countries they could collect donations from! OMG

To cover the server cost you should minimize the bandwdth where you can.
I noticed that you use ZIP to compres the games. Why not RAR or better 7ZIP. You can make 7ZIP self-extract - because not lot of people have 7ZIP installed.
