Try using Compatability Mode on the installler.

Hi, I'm running Vista x64. The installer is 16-bit, so it won't work. When I tried using DOSBox, it said the installer required Microsoft Windows. Is there any way to get it to work? I really want to be able to play this game again.

I think I figured out the save problem.
I had the same problem with not being able to save. So I quit, then loaded. Then I could save again it seems.

Lucky me, never got these problems.

Anyway, mosinmatt: your post can be quiet helpfully but you may add some info:
How do you know when you must quit and load? So, how do you know when you cant save anymore or when you are about to lost the saving ability?

well i only Noticed this after i got used to the game i built 3 great towers but i have a problem building a very tall tower most of mine where wide
then i realised that you must link the lobby with transport ok fine and great now but when you have linked your loby past 30 using a lift ect
you when you start a new lift from 30 it only goes to 59 now i this must be a error because the game keep saying that there the lift sharft has a 30 level limit hmmm well i need a lobby on level 60 yes but my lift only go to 59 when it should go to 60 i tryed looking for a patch but not much anyone seen this problem or am i doing something wrong?

Look into the help to learn more about the elevator-problem.
It's a pretty common prob when you are new to SimTower.
