![]() I played this game for a while, but now I'm done with it. But I can't uninstall it from my computer. I'm on XP, and when I go to the Control Panel for adding/removing programs, it does not show up. Please help! Am I stuck with this program on my computer forever?

![]() The fact is that you didn't install any registry files when you put it on your computer (so no entry on the install/uninstall), you just extracted it from a zip.
Don't worry, this is a good thing, just delete the folder the game is in. Poof gone, no traces remain.

![]() Fully seconded, works as a charm.
Or VPC-W3.x. Also to consider, and usually forgotten, (by me also), if you have already dosbox 0.72 W3.x runs fine on dosbox, and Simtower is afterall a W3.x game. It's pretty easy to install W3.x in dosbox, maybe easier than VPC if you never been on real MSDos. ![]() <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Elijah @ Aug 28 2007, 02:33 AM) </div> Quote:

![]() I've recently reinstalled this (ok, about 20 minutes ago! :-) ). Installation worked like a champ, the game starts up fine, runs extremely fast, but runs fine.
However one wee bit of a problem exists which I have not seen in these umpteen pages. If I click on any menu item (File, Options, Help, etc), it immediately closes. No application errors, no Dr Watson crash logs. It just appears to exit. Anyone else experience that? If so, anyone have a fix for it? I'd rather not use dosbox/win3.1 if I can avoid it, but will if it's the only resolution. I've tried every app compatibility OS to no avail. winxp Sp2 Lenovo t60 laptop |
