He's not looking for graphics, he just wants a good nice RPG. (By the way, Diablo is an RPG, I'm tired of hearing "action game with RPG elements" If you can't except it then you're by yourself.)

Actually, he's not. I've read it time and again, and happen to agree with it, too. Besides, even if he were alone, that wouldn't make him wrong. 999 out of 1000 people can believe something that's incorrect; it's happened before, and will happen again.

In any case, we're stymied to help if all we're told is 1) he likes Fallout, and 2) he dislikes everything in the RPG section, here. A little more explanation of what he wants out of an RPG should make it clearer, assuming the thread starter isn't just having us on for fun.

Suggesting Dungeon Master I is unhelpful but suggesting Dungeon Master II is helpful?
My point exactly.

But anyways, also I suggest checking out www.spidweb.com
Admittingly all their stuff is shareware, the Blades of Avernum and Blades of Exile hold excellent, complete games within them. REgistering the games only allows one to play additional games created by other people. Wonderful games. Not abandonware, but I thought i'd be "unhelpful" *wink Blood-Piggy*

Everyone seems to have gone wild.

I was talking about how everyone was assuming he wants graphics.
Read a little more carefully before going agro.

P.S. Stop spelling my name wrong, the extra G is there for a reason.

Oh pahh ^^ Just playing around with yeh. Besides, I never even noticed the extra G until just now, so I do apoligise.

Also, if graphics AREN'T a driving influence, I agree with Wasteland if you can buy it somewhere. Shame it's no longer here. It does give you the Fallout "feel" which is very nice.

I was sad to see Wasteland removed from the site.
But it had to be done so :bleh: .

Oh, and if you want a really good RPG I suggest you try to find System Shock, or download System Shock 2 from HOTU.

It's FANTASTIC!

Seconded, but it's doubtful you'll be able to run them on a system like his. If you're willing to actually spend money, however, then spash out on Fallout 2 (If you haven't already, as it rules), Planescape Torment or Baldur's Gate.

Planescape Torment not so much, you need at least 64 meg of RAM if you don't want it to crawl as slow as a slug, but Baldur's Gate is definate.

Maybe some of the Elder Scrolls games, I'd reccomend Daggerfall and Arena, both are good plays.

Oooo yeh, if he can run it, Planescape would be excellent. Also, if your into space stuff, Escape Velocity Nova has RPG elements,

ooh and you can always check out all the freeware (and abandonware?) Roguelike games, such as my favorite, T.o.M.E.

In first place as i can see, there was a little confusion there, and the only one who understood my point was bloody_pigggy, anyway, everything is allright, anone can misunderstand something like that if i talk about the screeshots. So to explain me better, i don't care about graphics, is just that the screeshots doesn't convince me at all, maybe if somenone insist (i wrote it ok???) me i could try any game of the rpg section (and some of you did it). So, to end with this, i like more future like rpg's than a medieval rpg, but i play them also, so, i'm open to any suggestion, i'm sorry if i'm to much complicated.
Thank you all for replying, looking forward for more..............
LOL
