I think James Bond says that line about the mission - should you choose to accept it.
But Flashback also fits your description. You start out in a space-jungle, with lots of enemies after you. You have to complete various missions. Then ultimately get back to Earth. I'm gonna say Flashback.

is it an adventure, rpg or fps game?? also, when you say "martians" do you mean "aliens from mars" or "generic aliens that could be from any planet in the universe but i chose to use the term 'martian' for convention's sake"?
hmmm... is it maybe serious sam 2 (wasn't that on mars??), or dark colony?? 99% its not but still worth a shot  k: |

the line "your mission, should you chose to accept it,..." is from mission imosible. and it was a (silly) joke on my part.(that line is not in the game) :angel: . the game is a strategy, so that's an automatic no to most things.
