![]() I installed Thief 2, but when trying to run it (under XP sp2) I got the message I'd need the indeo codec. Now, of course I can buy that codec for slightly less than $15, but that really isn't an option (what's the idea of having to pay to play a game you already have?)
Ok, so I took the trip to google, and found this is an issue with Thief 2 and XP sp2. There were solutions, but there were too many of them and each of them cried out "NO! For the love of God, don't do that! Do this instead", leaving me utterly confused. Anyone ever sorted this out with success? Please tell me what to do.
