Well they do have a lot of games (far more then we can even begin to hope for)... but as all of you prove (simply by being here) - we have something they don't.
It may not be much - or may have be a great advantage - but HOTU and Abandonia aren't really a direct competition for one another. One is a huge game archive - the other is a enthusisats talk about games site (guess which is which). |

 Other good games on ther incluse the new update's Shadow Watch and of course the WinXP compatible X-COM downloads. The rest is cool too. |

well HOTU iiiiiiiiis slow...
but i started my game archive with HOTU and thanks to them i have ALOT. like a couple of you said our community is alot cooler though... i dont even visit the HOTU forums anymore |

i'd say if you want games go to HOTU but if you want hospitality and good people come to abandonia :angel:

one of the reasons some people won't hang around there, is the so called (by us) "mega update"- not only do people have to wait for weeks (and now months) for one, but when it's here the bandwith usage is unbearable! there were enough games on that list to post one every other day mind you. Lets not make that mistake here.
P.S. for people who don't know this trick: you can see HOTU games before the big update if you increse the number in games address (http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=4763) until you get some game you don't know. when you get the error page, that means end of update as of yet. |

Look at it like this:
Hotu = WV.. pumping alot of good-quality and some bad quality in mass-production-rate. Descriptions = just what you need to know.. nothing more Ab = Ferrari.. Going for single cars, with alot of work put down in each of them, giving the cars some extras that you didn't realy NEED, but will be glad you got anyway.
