Trying to run this game in linux using DOSBox. It runs slow to the point of being frustrating to play. How are the rest of you running this? I have an XP partition and can install there if need be.
Game looks great otherwise. Would really like to get this running properly.

Try mod the config file, and turn up the clock cycles, used by DOSbox...

When I run my game with MS DOS, the game shows the logo, then the screen just goes black and nothing happens. What is wrong?

The program requires a mouse. That is not working under dos. Run it under Windows (use dosbox if needed, but the W. still required to run).

Mindscape is an ESA subsidiary company. This means their games are subject to a ten year protection period (a minimum of ten years must pass since publication before we are allowed to put up a download of the game in question).
All their other games are either new enough to still be for sale somwhere or old enough for the protection period to expire.

I'm guessing it was marked "protected" before 2007 (in fact I think it was done in or before 2005, right?), and should now be released. or is my math wrong?

When we do not know the exact publication date, the assumption is that the game is protected until January 1st of the next year.
