pls somebody help me. when i save i don't know how to load pls tell me.

its one of others F1-F12. try pressing them all in a row and see which works (i have a vague memory that f10 opens the menu for all the settings with save and load option as well, but im not sure)

tks but now i got a worse problem. when i hit F5 or spacebar or any key that does a function the game freezes. i don't know how to play it on dos box or somethink else so can you pls tell me how??

when you hit f5 or space it pauses the game =] hit again to unpause

I am in the catacombs looking for the nights toomb. i opened the book of maps but didn't see the map. how do you turn the page??

Acctually you did see the map, but it only looks like some weird canall system. You won't really need a map to get through though (the maze is really simple). So if you don't get to the knight's tomb you have missed something else, that isn't placed on the map anyway (there should be man ywalkthroughs on-line).

And about freezing... F5 calls up the save/load menu, space pauses the game (and it GIVES A CLEAR MASSAGE IT IS PAUSED), so if the game froze you have compatibility issues (not sure if it's the same guesst).

You could try Scummvm instead of DOSBox. Scummvm allows you to play most LucasArts point'n'click adventure games as well as some non-LA games on modern systems. It is very easy to set up and use. You can find Scummvm via our main page. If you need help, feel free to ask, but I'm pretty sure you will figure it out

tks a lot you guys are really helpful. you see i am new to this system. i am now reading the dosbox tut on this site an if i don't understand i will try Scummvm. tks for your help offer. i will probably need it!

Not so good, this one.
Even when it first came out I thought the puzzles were dull and the dialogue a lousy extended/embriefened parody of the classy chat in the film.
Sadly, I still feel the same.

Get on the phone and get FoA abandoned, I say!
