Search a bit in the in-game options. I think there's an "allow quicksaving in combat" button to click or something like that.

 k: Where's beefonthebone when you need him ? :P Anyway I think that is where the option to save is. In JA 2 you just had to press ALT+S to autosave and ALT+L to load. I don't remember how to do this in JA 1, but I know for sure that I could save in it (JA 1).Oh and for "thank u very much for your help": no problem. i like helping people when I can (I usually can't but when we are talking about my favourite game series ever I am pretty sure I can help; if you need any tips and hints pm me - control panel (somewhere up) => compose new message (somewhere left)) |

control panel, for sure!
k: i can remember when u first time start the game, u get asked if u enable quicksave during fight, or something like that. but in all the versions if downloaded this option is dissabled, and i don't know how i can enable it.. this is really *meep*ed up.. damn |
