Rise of the Robots
An old figthing game like Mortal Kombat.
got hooked on a demo when i was a kid. |

Rise of the Robots is considdered one of the great failures of the gaming world. A high budget large production game that was just crp to play. This is not a game that belongs on Abandonia.

I have Rise of the Robots II, which is a little better game that part 1, unfortunately it's big, around 100-200 MB if I recall correctly + CD music.
That one would be not the best game on Abandonia, but good one, if there only would be that much space... |

Heh, I remember playing the demo ages and ages ago. From what I remember it was pretty cool. Oh well.

I think your WRONG!!
Rise of the robots was a great game i played it to death (no really i nearlly died of not eating enough when it came out) i dont know why it appealed to me it just did, but then again so did golden axe at one time....

Considering that the game was made in 1994, I would say that it showed the way to go for many gaming companies in terms of graphic. The resolution is mind-boggling! (Even by todays standards!!) Sure, it might not have that many levels... 5 or 6, but still. I believe they made this game in order to challenge the graphic in those days.
If so, then this game build the tracks for the others to follow.
