![]() Perhaps I'm just dense, but there doesn't seem to be a way to access your guide, Fifth Horseman.
None of the posts that mention it actually seem to have any attachments, and the rapidshare is long dead. Admittedly, most of those posts were a heck of a long time ago. LOL. Could you please re-upload your guide + saves to rapidshare again, or something? Thankyou in advance. (I'm assuming the guide on gamefaqs has nothing to do with this one...) |

![]() In the Mountain Hike mission, I have the hills occupied for 35 mins, and then I retreat south along the road. I get to the very bottom of the map, on the E side (where the road exits the map) but the mission won't end. Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks.

![]() Are you pretty sure that you really occupied the hill? I dont question the fact of your dolls garrisoned over it, but remember that only when you clear the last enemy tank the game will trigger the clock. Maybe i am wrong but there is a nasty trick about how the game considers the hill occupied or when your occupation start to count. Its funny since i was stuck a long time on this one.

![]() About your guide - it's very helpful and covers basics well.
After ending second mission with ease (no casualities, two minor injuries) I would want to give a little hint - if you put your first drop before the bridge, in a small forest clearing and remember about using artillery and smoke every turn - this mission is a piece of cake. Second drop should be placed in the clearing at the oposite side of the river. Funny fact, but all enemy units tried to use the road, which ended in them being completely wiped by artillery and oportunity fire. And no unit got through other side of the river, for unknown reasons ( buggy A.I. ?). If you try fighting anywhere else - this mission could become really painfull (as were my first two attempts on this op). Hope it's helpfull. Game is really good, but its interface repelled me at first. Hardcore, unforgiving tactical game, nothing you'ld expect from Megatech guys |

![]() I tried this out now with just fidling around (so not used 5th's guide), and ... although it is a good little game, several things I found ... bad concept.
First is, you have to click around tons of times. to get anywhere. That's tiering. The clicking is further complicated with some seemingly useless functions, like three type of walking. What's that for? Running costs the fewest AP. I wasn't sure on what weapon does what just by looking at them, and splash-damage cathed me unaware. How the transport-aircraft actually working? The biggest drawback is, that you can not move the screen. That's a pain in the ass. At one point the fog-of-war suddenly returned on already visited areas. Why? All in all, it wasn't bad, but I lost a mech and a flyer, and got 3 injured pilots - but no dead? Also, why 3 injured with two lost units? Also, why I could not summon the promised air-support? Oh, and the using of explosives... I planted all 3, then wondered why nothing happens X( After that I've read this forum, and started to wonder: there are various mecha-types? My pilots gain exp? So until I figure out what's going on from 5th's guide, I give this a 3/5, but just because I like the genre. QUESTION TO 5TH HORSEMEN: In your guid at the first mission you put Rizza Molina into a mecha. But she is an artillery-specialist, so please tell me how is that possible - and if not, who should bring the explosives? Also, where can I see the skill-levels?
