Below you will find all the answers to the quiz. I've corrected all the questions and have all the scores but first, I want to share the answers with you. If any of you disagree with the answers, you can post your remarks here BUT my word is final. Some questions did have different obscure answers but the answers given here are the most correct:

1.1 B Before deciding on a name, they simply called him 'guy' and after saving the 'guy' sprite in the graphics program, it got as extension .brush making the file read 'guy.brush'.

Quite a few people fell into this trap by going for the kitchen supplies one. He actually sold a stove to the dead cook in Monkey Island 2.

NOT Doom. A lot of people may not realise this (probably because they never had an original copy), but the original Doom was shipped with a manual detailing the story. Doom 3 redid that story so it WAS a remake.
Mean Streets was remade into Tex Murphy Overseer.
Settlers 2 had the 10th Anniversary edition.

This was a tricky one that a lot of people fell for. The TITLE of the book is Killer Jokes. The writer was The Trixter. While the item name in Ultima VIII was "Killer Jokes of the trixter", if you opened the book it said "Killer Jokes" by the trixter.

Another one with a lot of wrong answers. I gave away a lot of clues though: travel back in time, the first mission is called the Pre-History and you beat up an ape.
