IIRC, you can't use turn-based combat in multiplayer mode.
And yes, the multiplayer enemies are good several times harder than single player ones. That's because they should be fought by a group, not by a single individual.

Yes, and one of them is capable of killing two well armoured characters in 5 seconds, right? (My char had Thieves' Armor and was lvl 25, Pete's was in some enchanted chainmail and he was lvl 7.) Overpowered bastards.

I think 5th is right about the ganging up on them, Tomekk.

I was playing with some Russian dude the other day - I just let him batter them while I ressurected him and button bashed harm at them.

Using the auto-equip for potions is handy, too.
My inventory was filled with them after I slaughtered all the shop keepers...
That building near the south docks, guarded by brigands, has just one chest with a thousand or so coins.

Disappointing...

I've got a programme to slow down stuff - it seems to help also.

Hey hey!

I think I've figured out the world editor.
I've been doing it in my lunch breaks and in the evenings instead of playing computer games (thought I'd be more productive if I took a break from them).

I've managed to get past the skeleton archers with only one other person.

I just had to have Harm, Major Heal and Resurrection on hotkeys and tap 1,2,1,2,1,2,3 - you have to resurrected them quite often.
They have to have Resurrection scrolls on their hotkeys too, just in case you die!

I use this programme for keyboard shortcuts:
http://www.autohotkey.com/

I use it all the time in Sniper Elite for Server Messages (Like, don't be a nob-jockey or you'll be kicked for being a twat - that way, both sexes and sexualities are offended.) and for key sequences that only take a second, but could mean the difference between getting the kill or not. Or getting shot.

The window for shots is only a fraction of a second sometimes.
Does anyone play Sniper Elite?

Anyway - how do I make it so that you [Tomekk] can have the same Arcanum World as me?
Do I just upload it, whatever it is, somewhere and you overwrite something (after making a backup, of course!)?

Nice one.
Pete

There's a script template you can download from the files section on my homepage if you want to use Autohotkeys but can't be arsed to write a script from scratch.
(it's somethingsomething .AHK)

It's pretty easy to just delete bits and change it to how you want.

I've found that it's a good thumb saver on button bashing games!
Just press the scripted button once for 100 button-bashes in x number of seconds when you need it.

Wish they had that for consoles. I hate the weird feeling you get from playing games like that.

A new one for the list of Computer Game related injuries:

"Button Basher's Thumb".

@Saccade: Yes, just send me your version of the map and we're in business. BTW, do you know how to change that weird dot on the mini-map, to a square or something else that let's you orientate better?

Which weird dot's that?
You mean the Maltese Cross that marks your position - like a windmill?

I can try - it's not like I've got anything better to do at the moment.
I'll stick the files up and post the link when I have.

I left the caps lock key on accidentally and locked myself out of my PC, so I need to reset the CMOS, but haven't gotten round to it yet - I'll do it this week as I need my PC for some stuff on the HDD and also to play Sniper Elite, Defcon and Uplink.
