![]() I grew up playing the floppy version, but now I'm trying to play the CD version on Dosbox, but the speech is too quiet and gets drowned out by the music. Is there a way to adjust that? I use D-Fend Reloaded, and I've messed with the volume sliders, but it didn't help. I want the speech to be louder but the music to stay the same volume.
I've tried ScummVM. The speech is a lot better, but the music doesn't sound emulated as good. Actually, after messing with the sound options in Dosbox, I'm thinking the music through MT-32 emulation may be too loud. *Edit* Finally fixed it after messing with settings for a few hours and googling for solutions. It seems I needed to uncheck "Use Mixer" or in otherwords, sbmixer=false, which doesn't make sense to me, but oh well. Last edited by Maxor127; 28-01-2012 at 05:50 PM. |
