And yeah, 'tis a great place indeed. It's full of trolls, but it's great. Music being one of my absolute biggest interests... being able to share what I like, discover new bands, and things like that is just... lovely.

Speaking of which, has anyone heard of Spotify (which is last.fm compatible btw)? Lovely new music service; It's completely free. It's completely legal. They have thousands of songs by various bands, and you can instantly (I personally don't have a noticable loading time...) listen to them, choosing from a huge selection of streaming music through the downloadable client. However, you need to get an invite. But on the Spotify website (at least the .com one) you can sign up for one. Might take some time before you receive it, but you'll do so. You can also buy it if you want to (that will take away the commercials, and make more music available... I think).

This is Brads new site. Entire albums for free download and some for purchase. Must sign up, but it's worth it. Check out these free bands: The Vacation, CellDweller and Shaolin Temple Of Boom.
Downside: some MP3's have sponsor plugs added to each free song, but it can also be rather cool. "Entwined by Shaolin Temple Of Boom, brought to you by Sabian Symbols" then your song. In most cases it's a band member doing the narration so it's kind of like a live track with introductions
