And there is no a registry file!!!!!
Where is it? To do this you will have to be logged in as administrator.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<What the hell is that? How can i logged in an administrator´? |

There is a .reg file in the archive if you downloaded the game from here. If there is not, then download the game from here.
 If you can't see the files extention (which I never understood why, it's one of the most basic things to see in Windows), there is an option in your folder options to enable you to see all extentions. By default, this stupid option is turned off. If you don't have the admin rights on your computer, then talk to your sysop. |

But if i push the Transport Tycoon Deluxe.exe,then there stand: unable to acess the Transport Tycoon CD? I need an CD? |

There is one file which it's icon is a patched icon (with band-aids). You should use that file to start the game.

I'm starting to REALLY love this site!
First, X-COM, now Transport Tycoon. Great! =^) Brings back quite a lot of my youth, hehe. Anyway, I still have a problem. I once read through the whole thread and found another poster with that problem, but reading though it again I couldn't find it anymore. :blink: If playing the desert / jungle map, I can't buy electric trains. Steam and diesel trains work, later on the Monorail and the MagLev work as well, and I get messages about the new e-trains that can be brought. But they don't show up in the buy menu. Can anyone help me? Thats quite frustrating, playing up until 2050 with some 50-60 year old trains.  Another question: Is there any chance to start the game at 1900 instead of 1950? Didn't find that in the options. |

When you unzip the game fully, you'll notice there is two repertories for TTD. In the first repertory is the readme.txt and the runme!.reg file, in the second repertory there is the real game.
You must not change the repertories names after you run the .reg file, and you must reboot for the .reg file to take effect. |

Did you build depots? Only when you have at least 1 depot for a certain vehicle type (bus/lorry, train, ...) you'll be able to buy such vehicles.
Also, when the game is paused you can't buy any of them either.
