Thumbs down

Hello!

For all of you who loved playing Another World, there is a game you should try. Its called onEscapee and is a conversion from a Amiga game.

It was released in 1997 and is, in my oppinon, better than Another World, but not as good as Flashback. Maybe its because the gamestyle is more like Another World than Flashback: more puzzles and jump and run than action. But that’s just my own opinion.
The graphics are very good, and the music is just awesome. Some of the puzzle look very hard at the first look, but they are all logical.
The PC version is now availabke for free at:

http://onescapee.invictus.hu/

Try it, or you definetly miss a great game, which shows again, that Amiga rules PC

Greetings!

Now it has one ''p''

Btw, dont be frustrated because of the first few puzzles. They are not as hard as they may look like.

Tip for beginners: You have to be hit by the Spaceship, to be blown over the tree that lies on the ''electric fence''. After this you have to get the spaceship to blow away the wrecked ''whatever''. It lies on the exit.

while we're on the subject, there's another game that fans of these games should look into- "Bermuda Syndrome" it's a great game. I was so sad when it didn't run on my new computer...

EDIT: good news there's a working version here (and if it doesn't work for you, there's a different one on HOTU)

enjoy! :w00t:

EDITx2: (not related) I got stuck in OE, I just got the gun and I have NO idea where to go, at all. :help:

In the room where you find the gun, there is a way in the wall. Sometimes they are hard to find, but it is there nearly black part of the wall. Go through and shot the rocks to the left.

Ooooh, didn't know there was a PC version! I got the Amiga version a while back; runs adequately in WinUAE, though a little slow at times. This one will prolly run better

I highly recommend this game to everyone who liked Another World. The gorgeous intro (featuring a song with vocals, no less) alone is worth getting this game for.

It seems a very good game! k:

The only thing i don't like too much is the "design" of the protagonist, but probably could be difficult doing better at that resolution...
