When you have something weird, that might not deserver a whole new thread, you might want to post it here, saves space too!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/mid...st/4260894.stm

Iraqi police arrested two britons who were firing at the police in Basra, but they were actually undercover military personnel. WTF?

Why woud that be weird? That would only prove - were it really true - that it's not in the interest of the ocupators to brign peace to Iraq, but to keep the fights going. :ranting:

I saw that the Liberal Democrat party had called for the begining of troop withdrawals in Iraq.. perhaps this was intended as an example of continuing violence in Iraq that the Labour party could use to defend themselves?

Who knows?!

This sort of reminds me of another country where one person got the most votes and the other got the power...

Last Belgian elactions the extreme right political party actually won the elections, but didn't gain power due to last-minute coalition forming by other parties. Sometimes I wonder if our vote even counts if they're just going to band together to form a shaky alliance.

Now for something quite weird:

Now that's just absurd!

It's like if somebody would demand McDonalds to remove that big M of theirs because it looks like a pair of breasts... Hang on, are you just thinking what I'm thinking? I bet you are
