![]() Sounds like you've either got a path problem or a crippled copy (first being much more likely).
Did you install the game using DOSBox in the first place? |

![]() No, first i actually copied the content on rom cd and placed it on my deskop, ofcourse i couldnt run it with vista so i put it in my "DOSSPEL" folder. (dosgames)
Then i installed it from Dosbox to C and then ran it through there..(with dosbox) And the error occured. Last edited by z3rog; 20-01-2010 at 09:35 PM. |

Delete the game. Mount the CD in DOSBox and install it from there. There should be a file named "install" or "setup" somewhere on the game disc. Most likely the game needs to set some paths in its configuration file during the installation, and not having done so results in the mess you've got. |

![]() Ok thx, i nearly got it working now. Ive done all that but when i try to install it says my Drives aint got enough drive space.. i tried both D and C.. any ideas?
btw: sorry for being a dosbox noob Picture shows what it looks like. When the install shuts down it says "Panzer General requires 3000000 bytes" Another thing: I used "Mount C E:\ -t cdrom" |

OK, Back to square one with you. First read and apply this: http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=19982 Then you'll have a properly mounted virtual c:\ in dosbox. Next, mount your CD as D in dosbox. mount d e:\ -t cdrom Install the game from D: on C: in dosbox.

![]() You're welcome, enjoy the game.
An interesting read is Japo's Most Useful Options in DOSBox.conf if you really want to learn about dosbox tweaks. The "dosbox readme" itself is also interesting, but that's kinda elaborated with plenty of things you'll never ever will need...... And of course in all those Dosbox Tuturials you always can find something of interest for you.
