Stand Up Comedy- Punch tries his hand

So yeah I am a huge fan of stand up. So I decided for the last week I'd write something up and perform it. And if I like it I'd keep working on it. So yeah please check it out. |

um... did you watch it yourself before posting it?
First; You need to learn how to handle a microphone first.. Put the mic to your chin and get a mic-fro.... Second; Lighting.. get some light-source so we can SEE you! Third; you made NO attempts to make contact with me, the viewer. You just wiggled around and looked high, with closed eyes. Sorry, can't comment on your actual standup, as the 3 points above prevented me from seeing it at all..... Looking forward to you next attempt!

Thank you Titan, I know my Mic sucks (It's a rockband 2 microphone) and the lighting is pretty poor in the House of comedy (My bathroom) but the thing is the reason why I wasn't connecting was that my eyes were closed as part of a joke that was touched on multiple times.

Seriously, I tried to watch it but couldn't go through the first minute which was weirdly awkward.

If you stopped jiggling around it would be much easier to watch. You don't need to be dead still, but the constant swaying makes it difficult to pay attention to what you're actually saying.
Also, but you're probably doing this already, watch as much stand-up as you can, not just on youtube etc. Go to the clubs so you can feel how comics actually connect with the audience. Apart from that, nice one for sharing this with us, putting things like this up for random people on the internet to critique takes balls
