![]() It doesn't sound like they have covered all their bases. Selling old games without any game documentation does not make sense.

![]() Read the article closer. Many old games won't have any documentation since there's nothing to do about it. Gone is gone. If they can they will perhaps make their own version instead.

![]() It sounds like they're trying to take an Itunes approach to gaming. If everything is legit and legal, I give them credit for thinking outside the box to some extent.
However, I question how much success they will have with this. Many of the bigger manufacturers are going to have problems with DRM free. Not to mention that they will likely want to hold on to the bigger franchises in case they want to do compilations. I'm also curious as to how many companies are going to let the GOG folks mess with their games to make them XP friendlier. It seems like all around there will be a lot of legal red tape. On the customer front, it could be nice to have a game that is ready to play and a download away. Though a lot of older games can be bought used from ebay or half.com for under $5, so I would hope that most would carry the lower price point (if the vendors have a say, I'm expecting they will be closer to the $10 mark) |

![]() hmm i don't know, does it concern the dos titles? it's a different platform. the dude in the interview said that they aim for vista compatibility,an ultimate support and stuff like that.

![]() Xp and Vista support would be cool for old games...but I'm a bit suspicious.
Let's wait and see what happens. |
