What about the orginal Pirates (none of this new-fangled "Gold" stuff)? That's the best of the series.

I'd vote for Pirates! Gold but I haven't played either its remake or Monkey Island (yes... ), so I'll abstain.

I have played a few random pirate games that really arnt that good at all.
I want a proper running around finding crews, hijacking ships, looting and mugging people. Fighting with a complete and great fighting system and proper escape method's where you do evry thing. is there a game like this. :monkey_dance:

Well, MI is good and all that, but the greatest pirate related[/b] game I've played is the Elite Frontier and Final Frontier. Reason: You could be a d**khead pirate as a pirate should be running the most unappropriate goods to the most 'this is just wrong' place in the universe! :brain: (I've got a twisted sense of humour, I know)
