![]() So I've been thinking it's time for a new gamepad. The one I had is dying quickly on me, and no wonder, cheap piece of...
Anyways, I've been considering the solution may be to hack a XBox controller, but before I do I want to get input from "the community". I play alot of old games, not just DOS. Sometimes I like th 6 button configuraion of my current controller when playing street fighter or the like, but I suppose I could just get used to odd configurations for those relatively rare time. I guess most of the time the 4 button configuration is good enough. A small, portable controller would be good too, but again, aside from making my own I don't know where to get one. So what do yawl use when you want to take your hands off the keyboard? Gaah, hit the enter key when editing the topic. If a mod wants to fix this it should read "What's your Game Pad?" |

![]() i have this one
http://www.pricerunner.co.uk/games/game-co.../165148/reviews works fine, not expencive. Except that configuration is sometime a probleme. (can't get it ok under Half life, but then for half life, a keyboard and mouse tends to works good) edit : acctually, thrustmaster made a program to solve this. this for the force feedback version, but works fine with mine too. But I can't make Half Life to work. it changes the configuration after I makes it |

![]() I got two of these. For $50AU. Because I bought it online. But you can't get that deal because you order it, go to the shop and pick it up.

![]() I'm looking for a controller too.
Preferably with 6 buttons under right thumb rather then usual 4, and I'd prefer to keep it within $25 or under. |

![]() I use a modded (SONY) PS2 controller that plugs in the printer port (LPT) and the USB with NTPAD as the driver. It works grate and it killed 5 mins putting the thing together
How to make a PS2 Pad setup (The HardWare) If you don't wanna make one you can buy a SmartJoy PLUS (USB to PS2 Port Adaptor) |

![]() I've got 3 gamepads here. My favorite is the Logitech Rumble Pad 2 (1x), but the Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Analog 2 (2x) are allright, too.
