![]() We all hate em, after opening the box and finding out the cd is shrink wraped. Well what do you find the opens em well? After worknig with computer internals and cutting myself with cards and the sharp ends of pipelines, I found using the edge of my fried 386 mobo works really well. I try not to use knives since it scratches the case.

![]() Somebody else's long fingernails. That one only works if you have an unsuspecting victim, obviously.

![]() Such wraps usually have an opening strip, don't they? Otherwise I'd just use the nearest sharp and pointy object.
Strange request, by the way LOL

![]() A strip. It usually begins with a slight inscission into the wrap, sometimes collored silver. I've seen that on a couple of wraps

![]() Weird question, but a knife would be a handy device for the task at hand...
Edit: whoops sorry did´t read the "scratch" part.... In this case, running your finger nail through one of the grooves usually works for me. |

![]() Seeing that I review a lot of CDs for a publication, my wife got me something interesting: a black 2" x 2" x 1/2" block of plastic, flat on all sides, with a button on the edge that extrudes a razor. I put the thing on a CD issue, push the button, move the block along the CD, and the plastic's cut. Works great.

![]() thats what I do. that gap between the front flap and the "spine" of the case, I shove my fingernail in the gap and cut it open there.

![]() I still have no idea what you are talking about, but I usually use either a key, a knife or fork or one of the plastic cases of magazines' cds.
