Default [Scatty] Dark Legions

Hi guys,

I want to find one old game, that I played a looong time ago (At the time I had Archimedean Dynasty, Battlechess and Warcraft 1, which is only thing that I remember about timescale).

What I remember: It was some kind of strategy game, where you had two game layers. Some kind of grid/tilebased strategy layout maybe akin to really big chessboard (But that may be affected by my memories of Battlechess, so I dunno).
But When pieces on the board met, there were second layer - some kind of realtime battlescreen, maybe?
I remember that I played with some kind of fire elemental a lot, but... It is all kind of hazy.

I know it is shooting in the dark, but if it seems familiar to someone I would be glad to read about it.

I try to find all the games of my youth and finish them again as part of huge nostalgia-trip

(Just have put finishing touches on Warcraft 1 and finished others: Archimedean dynasty (sooo cool game), Elvira, Birthright and Blood to mention few )
