It's very nifty, and well designed.
k: I was very interested in some of the effects you used, such as the tilted banner and the alien-head cutout in the pics. I looked at the source, but you used flash. That's cheating =/ Sigh. |

You can't navigate the site silly :P , it's the presite.
It's to warm people up for the festival. People can upload their pics on the site and you can comment on them by clicking on the pics. We had good fun with the pics people send in already haha. The real site comes in May |

That's really cool! I really need to teach myself Flash sometime. I have it since I have the complete MX 2004 suite, but I've never taken the time to really dive into what it can do (only once did I for a graphics design class in high school when we had to make a minimum 1 minute animation about an artist of our selection). Congrats, I really like it!

Yeah, flash is pretty hard. I was lucky to only have to animate the small clips. Those already cost me about 50 hours of work to get them right (tough art director ).
Imagine the coding behind all this crap made by 3 programmers. For this simple presite! |

Oh I understand. I think that's one thing many people take for granted. Especially for those who's sites are in essence mainly flash animations. The time it takes to do all the coding and animating alone is insane, and they have to do all their own graphics on top of that.
